| With a deep sense of social responsibility for the welfare and interests of society and a genuine compassion for the underprivileged, Aster has established ‘Aster Training Academy’, in Hyderabad. Aster Training Academy aims at providing quality education to the deserving underprivileged and impart in them necessary skills to meet the challenges of the world. Our training methodology is aimed at developing an all-round growth in the individuals leaving secondary school into skilled, intelligent, responsible and independent citizens.
Initially we trained batches of 25 students. For the future batches, we intend to increase the number.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: 18 years to 21 years
Qualification: 10th / Inter / ITI (Appeared) (Rural / Tribal areas)
Family Income: Less than Rs 50,000 per annum
Training duration: 3 / 4 months (Residential)
What makes our training program Unique:
- The Trainees are provided with free boarding and lodging and they are also paid stipend. General health care is provided to the trainees during the training
- A high sense of discipline is inculcated among the trainees
- Training in Physical Education and Yoga help build in them a sound physical and mental health
- Leadership qualities are developed by empowering them to resources and responsibilities
- Team activities conducted in the campus help develop team spirit in the trainees
- Planning skills are cultivated by empowering the trainees to plan and act
- The timely feedback provided to trainees on their performance helps them evaluate their strengths and weaknesses
- Event management skills and individual talents are encouraged through cultural activities
- Experienced faculty members train them to raise the standards of their Technical knowledge to those practiced at Aster
- ‘Practical’ and ‘On the Job Training’ programs are organized to develop practical knowledge in them
- Guest lectures by the in-house experts are organized to motivate and to provide insight into the working environment

During selection, preference is given to the economically disadvantaged group in the society. Training is provided in the disciplines of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering along with support subjects like Mathematics and language skills in English and Hindi. On successful completion of the training, candidates are inducted as employees into the organization. |
